Definition
The SASA is a self-assessment used to determine your Survival Archetype based on your default conditioned survival response in an area of life you want to change. It helps you hone in on which gene key to contemplate and work with when you want to explore the system beyond your personal profile alone.
Application
Use the SASA when you’re following Path 2 of the CTD Method. As a reminder, this path is for anyone who wants to use the 8 Survival Archetypes as their guidance system to find clarity, retrain survival patterns, and thrive as opposed to your personal Gene Keys profile. Because the 8 Survival Archetypes are based upon proven behavioral and psychological themes in human nature, this is a primarily scientific path to revealing and retraining your patterns with less of a spiritual focus.
Take the brief SASA to determine if you’re defaulting to a fight, flight, freeze, or fawn survival response in your nervous system in the context of whichever area of life you want to change: love/relationships, career, life purpose, money, or health/well-being. The results of the assessment will show you which Survival Archetype you’re most likely embodying.
Once you have your Survival Archetype, you’ll consult the Archetype Atlas [link] to see which gene keys are associated with that survival response. You’ll follow the steps of the CTD Method (Part 2) to choose a gene key to work with and transform your nervous system to create the changes you’re ready for.
